DAMN 2025, a direct action cross-disability coalition, claims homeless people are being turned away from Toronto shelters if they are suspected of having flu-like symptoms.

DAMN 2025 member Andrew Mindszenthy says people with disabilities or illness should be treated with respect and dignity and offered the supports and resources they need.
