Thousands filled the streets of Toronto on July 5, 2015 for the Jobs, Justice and the Climate March. The event was organized by 350.org and brought together a variety of groups, including labour unions, Indigenous community groups, local and regional environmental groups, students and many others to demand a justice-based, greener economy.

Memorial for Adolfo Ich Chamán held outside Hudbay Minerals headquarters

A crowd assembled outside of the Hudbay Minerals headquarters on September 26 to honor Adolfo Ich Chamán, a Mayan Q’eqchi community leader who was killed by security personnel at the Fenix Mining Project in Guatemala. The memorial was lead by Tata Bartolo, an Ajq'ij or spiritual guide, who reflected on community solidarity and justice.
