The 'G20 Papers' is a trove of documents on security operations at the Toronto G20, and Huntsville G8. These files were obtained through freedom-of-information legislation, predominantly from the RCMP but also from other police and security organizations. We are now releasing these records to the public in hopes that they shed more light on the security apparatus for the G20, and help promote more people to use the Access to Information Act, and other freedom of information laws.
The G20 Papers consist of 3079 pages of documents released through freedom-of-information legislation, in 87 separate files, from 6 different agencies. As well as 5 videos, 1 photo, and 768 pages of publicly available reports on the G20 including the 447 page federal budget for the G20.
There are links below where the six batches of files can be downloaded. These links are followed by a list of documents in the trove and a brief summary of each document. We encourage you to download some of the files and examine these documents first hand.
