Commemorating 10 years of Grassy and Resisting tar sands pipelines leads to an update from Mapuche hunger strikers, followed by an update from the Oshkimaadziig Unity camp in Ontario
From the December 7th 2012 edition of AW@L Radio - The show starts with a review of the GRIS newsletter from dec 4 which looks at resistance in Grassy Narrows and to pipelines, then continues on the same vein with a read of an article about the Grassy Narrows 10 Year anniversary, then an interview from the John Bonnar audio blog with Judy Da Silva of Grassy Narrows.
Next up is an update from occupied chile where the Mapuche have been resisting state and corporate attempts to intimidate the indigenous into assimilation or death and right now two youth are on hunger strike for their freedom.
