More actions to save the CSUMB + against austerity in ontario. We read the intro from Julain Assange's new awesome book CyperPunks, Update on the kicking mountie + play a few revolutionary tracks!
From the December 7th 2012 edition of AW@L Radio - The show starts with some revolutionary hop hop from south america with Muerte Al Kapital by Zonyko con Dj CidTronyck (Prod. FaserBeats), and we quickly talk about the launch of the new daily news show on soundfm.ca the Daily GRRR!
Then on the Smash the state report we get into anti-austerity save the CSUMB actions in Sudbury with a 150+ person march to MPPrick bartolucci's office in Sudbury, and the cancellation of MPP and minister john milloy's open house after Poverty Makes us Sick KW and OCAP announced plans to attend the event to talk about the realities of this so-called joyous season. In the place of the open house, PMUS KW, the Action Against Poverty, and the Spot Collective hosted those who travelled from toronto to a community celebration and meal.
we then play Terrorista Lyrical by Subverso and come back with a reading of the intro to Julian Assange's new book CypherPunks which proclaims the internet has been taken over by evil state/corporate forces which are using it to spy on everything and subvert justice. Assange tells us to build digital zones that are safer from the evil by using the "ultimate form of non-violent direct action" - encryption.
Mutiny by Extash Team comes is followed by the surprising change heart by the "BC kicking mountie" who has owned up to his brutality and pled guilty to kicking a man in the face who was on his knees and complying with the officers orders.
We finish the show up with another track from Subverso, this time we hear Terroristas
