Roundtable: Idle No More - Six Nations
A roundtable with 3 Six Nations (Haudenosaunee) youth discussing Indigenous resistance, native-settler relationships, the power of the grassroots Idle No More and more!
This is a roundtable discussion from early January 2013 with Haudenosaunee (Six Nations) youth Dakota Brant, Lester Green, and John Henhawk who discuss the Idle No More movement from the local reserve level to the national movement, noting the importance of strong womyn, youth, and grassroots people in starting and maintaining this movement. The youth discuss native-settler relationships while framing the IdleNoMore movement in terms of responsibility to the land, the treaties, and to the future generations on turtle Island.

The song is dedicated to the 50000+ missing indigenous children, a legacy of canada's racist residential school system, and to all those around the world who may have lost loved ones.
