For food lovers of all kinds, Kimchi Chronicle is not the film to miss.Together with guest stars like Hugh Jackman (X-Men), Marja will demonstrate some simple cookings of Korean food in her kitchen. These dishes are surprisingly easy to make and delicious---you can certainly impress your family and friends after following Marja’s demonstrations. Ever wonder what will happen when a French chef meets Korean food? Do not miss the part where Jean-Georges make some mouthwatering Korean dishes. Of course, he will compare these two food cultures as he cooks, providing full depth and background about the dishes. Kimchi Chronicles manages to present the most authentic Korean food experience as well as a multicultural perspective.
Marja will also embark on a journey to South Korea with Heather Graham (Boogie Nights). Having spent only a small portion of her childhood in Korea, this journey is full of new discoveries for Marja. Their travelogue reveals both the traditional and the modern sides of Korea. For many non-Koreans, Kimchi Chronicles can be their Korean culture 101.
