Join organizers from the front lines of the blockades against Enbridge’s Line 9 pipeline, slated to bring tar sands bitumen through Toronto, and other towns across Ontario. The panelists, one of whom now faces multiple charges as a result of their brave actions, will discuss the Line 9 project in greater detail with an added focus on the regional direct action campaign and allied resistance to the pipeline in neighbourhoods across the GTA. This is your opportunity to ask questions directly to the organizers, and hear stories from the front lines of the struggle. This event will also be a pay-what-you-can fundraiser, raising money for the legal defence fund of activists who face charges resulting from the blockades.
