2015 marks the 5th anniversary of the devastating earthquake, 50th anniversary of Malcolm X’s assassination and the 100th anniversary of the American occupation of Haiti.
Please join The Pan-African solidarity Network (U of T) for an interactive public forum focusing on the past and present legacies of the American Occupation of Haiti and the on-going struggle to rid the nation of all forms of oppression. Your active and principled solidarity is needed to rid Haiti of the current military occupation and its quest to control its destiny. Furthermore, a discussion centring on the continued relevance of the internationalist thought of Malcolm X will be held.
