I have been following the candidates for election in my ward 36 in Scarborough. There are a few really good candidates I have given some consideration. I feel that we need a councillor who can deal with the spending problem we have at city hall, make the political process more open and accessible to the public and have a keen interest in balancing the budget at city hall.
I like Rob Ford's approach, although I do not agree with him completely, I believe this is the direction we need to go . A more fiscally responsible council. Of the councillors in this ward I am supporting Robert McDermott, a local businessman who supports Ford's election platform.
