The Conservative government, hoping to eliminate historic poverty in native communities has proposed changes to land-use rules, as an attempt to boost corporate investment. Pamela Palmater, chair in Indigenous Governance and Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University, speaks about the proposal and its potential effects on indigenous communities.
